Every bottle we use was already on its way to the bin. We collect them from pubs and parties, cut and sand each one by hand, then pour it into a soy candle that never quite repeats itself.
How it works
Local pubs, bars and party hosts set aside empty bottles for us instead of putting them out with the recycling.
Each bottle is washed, scored and cut by hand, then sanded smooth so the original shape and label stay intact.
Natural soy wax and a hand blended scent, poured in batches small enough that no two candles come out the same.
When the wax is gone the glass is yours. Recycle it, or wash it out and give it a third life as a vase.
The collection
Stock runs to whatever we have collected. When a bottle is gone, that candle is gone with it.
